Since the beginning of 2011, Northern Light Productions has been producing media for the Utah Museum of Natural History in Salt Lake City, Utah. Our team made up of Producer, Kate Raisz; Project Manager, Tim Lay; Associate Producer, Michaela O’Brien; Motion Graphic Artist, Eric Carlsen; and Editor, Andy Kukura have been working full steam to create three audio programs and seven video programs that communicate the breadth of Utah’s fascinating culture.
Much of our footage was shot on the RED camera and our immersive audio environments share native legends passed down through many generations, while also introducing issues of current concern like environmental sustainability.
